The first Necom Meet for many a year was held a couple of weeks ago in Bromsgrove and was a big success. Arranged by Jamie Maycroft, who no doubt many of you will know from your games, to take in the Germany vs Latvia and Holland vs Czech Republic matches, along with a fierce game of footie and plenty of comedic banter. The talk on the web is that we’re going to do this again in a few months, and hopefully get to see a lot more of you next time. The venue Jamie got for us was excellent, and is pretty centrally located, so hopefully we can aim for the same place. I’ll put more details in the newsletter for those interested when a date is confirmed, but in the meantime anyone with any questions or suggestions click on the noticeboards or ring me up.

New TL Action Launched
Lists all the transfers that have taken place that particular week. Also includes all players bought on the auction list and all players bought by bids to unmanaged teams. Contract offers are also included where they are accepted, so that includes a list of all players signed from the Out of Contracts list. Finally, scouting actions are included – where managers have snapped up players using the ‘SCOUT1’ and ‘SCOUT2’ actions, these too are listed on the printout. This list replaces that which used to be featured in the newsletter, as it allows us to be much more comprehensive rather than listing just the top 10 or 15 deals each week.
