Game 80 Champions League Draw

Welcome to the draw for the game 80 Champions League and Europa League.  A brand new season, so we don't have any league winners or cup winners to send through, just two pots - one with all the teams from the British league, one with all the teams from the Euro League.  Unmanaged sides are in there too, we're still hoping to pick up a new boss or two before the season kicks off.

Without further do, here we go with the draw:

Champions League Group 1:

First team out, a British team of course, Louis King's Liverpool.
Joining them in group 1 from the European pot will be Monaco
Team three, another British team, Patrick Lyons' Arsenal
Finally in this group,  a second European side, James Bartaby's Wolfsberg

So the group comprises
Liverpool
Monaco

Champions League Group 2:

Again we start with a team from the British league, this one has no manager - it's Everton
From the European league, out of the pot come Bayern Munich, managed by Chris Quick
Another British league side, Hayden Dando's Chelsea, some compensation for them from missing out on the Super Cup knockout stage no doubt
Finally, a European team, it's Roma

So Champions League Group 2 is:
Everton
Bayern Munich
Chelsea
Roma

Europa League Group 1:

Onward with group 1 of the Europa League

First team from the British league, it's Tottenham
Second team, from the European league, Inter Milan
Thirdly, from the British league, we have Newcastle
Finally, from the European league, John Ferrier's Dortmund.  A good draw for John so far - he's the only managed side in the group.  Hopefully somebody will step up and take on Spurs, Inter or Newcastle and give him a challenge in this group.

Europa League Group 1 is:
Tottenham
Inter Milan
Newcastle
Dortmund

Europa League Group 2:

The final group to be drawn, starting with a British league side, and it's Southampton
Next a team from the European leagues, and it's James Teager's Valencia
The final British league side to be drawn is Markie's Manchester City
Finally, the last team out of the Euro pot, it's AC Milan
