City climb above their local rivals but remain four points off the top after leaders Liverpool won 3-0 at Southampton, Borini scoring twice. Arsenal stay second, a point behind the leaders, after a 4-1 win at Newcastle.
In the Euro, Chris Quick's Bayern Munich stay top, two points clear, after a comfortable 3-0 home win over AC Milan. Two goals from Luis Suarez for Barcelona saw them beat PSG 2-0 to stay second, Dortmund are third after a 2-0 win at Inter, Subotic scoring both.
