Game 99

At the halfway stage in the game 99 season, Jamie Maycroft's Wolves saw their lead at the top of the Premier league table cut to three points after a spectacular goal scoring masterclass from Tottenham's Danny Welbeck.  The leaders took a very early lead against Steve Bennett's side, Chiellini firing Wolves ahead in the opening seconds of the game, but Welbeck levelled before half time then added two more in the second half to give Spurs a 3-1 victory.  Patrick Lyons' Southampton are also three points behind the leaders after they won 3-0 at Celtic whilst Anthony Brockway's Man United are another point back following their 1-0 home win against Blackburn.

The top two are tied in Serie A, Anthony Woods' AC Milan battered John Gilson's Bilbao 5-1 with Robin Van Persie scoring twice, whilst Kieran Hundal's La Coruna won 1-0 at James West's Real Madrid.  The top two are three points ahead of Joe Hughes' Roma who whon 3-0 at Benfica.
