Club Debt News

You may have seen from your printouts that teams who are more than £5 million in debt each week are listed in the newsletter, along with a number in brackets.  This number indicates how many weeks the team has been on the debt list.  Once this reaches 3 weeks, a player will be placed on the auction list and sold off the following turn to the highest bidder in order to help reduce the debt.  The player will be picked at random from your squad, so beware!  Best way to avoid this happening is to avoid getting in debt - if you are, clear the overdraft straight away!!!
