Five games in, and Wolves dropped their first points of the season - Jamie Maycroft's side held 1-1 at Arsenal. Steve Bennett's Spurs close to within a point of the leaders after they beat Cardiff 3-0 at White Hart Lane, Arsenal stay third with Patrick Lyon's Southampton fourth after a 3-0 win over Man City. Anthony Brockway's United round out the top five, three points behind the leaders after winning 3-2 at Villa Park despite ending the game with only 9 men - Piszczek and Smalling sent off before Aubemeyang snatched a late breakaway winner.
First dropped points of the season for both Barcelona and Roma in Serie A too, Joe Hughes' Roma side were held 1-1 at a La Coruna side who played most of the game with 10 men. Kieran Hundal's side held a 1-0 lead for most of the game too - holding on despite being a man down but finally Balotelli levelled with seven minutes to go. Roma drop to second, Patrick Lyon's Bayern now top on goal difference after Messi got a brace in a 3-0 win at bottom club Fluminese. Barcelona dropped points for the first time too, a last minute Corluka goal sending them to a 2-1 defeat at Jamie Maycroft's Valencia, Barca drop to third in the table, Valencia climb to fourth.
